A winter note about the driveway. The Hideaway's spectacular views do mean a downhill driveway. While the road and our driveway are plowed regularly, we are not responsible for any car issues on our driveway or other mountain roads. Be sure to have four-wheel drive and BE SAFE ❤

The Back 14 + Emory Brook
14½ acres of forest start right behind the house. Lace up for a wander through the trees, follow the brook, and keep an eye out for pileated woodpeckers, wild turkeys and the deer who think the yard is theirs.

Call ahead. Many spots change their hours with the seasons and close early in the week, especially during spring mud season. During fall hunting season, wear blaze orange on the trails.
